1st International Conference on Space Technology, 24–26 August 2009, Thessaloniki, Greece
Abstract
The main ideas introduced by their paper were:
- DInSAR monitoring technique from a spaceborne SAR system is a modern alternative to the traditional GPS or levelling techniques.
- DInSAR was successfully applied to monitor, at a relatively large scale, the infrastructure of the city of Bucharest, Romania.
- Also the possibility of enhancement of the monitoring process using the new generation of high resolution TerraSAR-X sensors was presented. For this resolution, the monitoring process could focus on individual buildings.
