Workshop on Innovative Data Mining Techniques in Support of GEOSS, 31 August - 2 September 2009, Romania
Abstract
DInSAR monitoring technique from a spaceborne SAR system is a modern alternative to the traditional GPS or levelling techniques. DInSAR was successfully applied to monitor at a relatively large scale the infrastructure of the town of Bucharest, Romania.
Also the possibility of enhancement of the monitoring process using the new generation of high resolution TerraSAR-X sensors was presented. For this resolution, the monitoring process could focus on individual buildings.
